Come Prepared to Register a New Vehicle

If this is a brand new vehicle you will need a spec sheet or a copy of the certification label. You can take a picture of it if it is affixed to the vehicle.

If this is a new vehicle with an MCO or MSO or an out of state title I need ONE of the following (3) things:

  1. Bring the vehicle for the VIN verification OR
  2. Bring a tracing of the VIN number OR
  3. Bring a photo of the VIN number signed by an inspection mechanic.

You will need to bring two or three checks (depending on the situaion). One for Paula Risley’s Auto Tags and the other to the Commonwealth of PA for the titling fees if required. The other needs to be a bank or certified check for the registration fee. The state will not accept personal checks for apportioned registration fee.
